Prior to granting PDA certification on the Guardian® RX 1500 – 8500 PSI reset relief valve, the ABS technical office reviewed the Guardian® product design to validate compliance with industry codes and standards.  They also reviewed product performance tests and confirmed the integrity and functional performance of this particular valve.  After a satisfactory technical evaluation, the ABS engineering department issued Marathon Valve a Product Design Assessment (PDA) on the 3” Guardian® RX 1,500 – 8,500 PSI reset relief valve.
